Mid Century Rattan Dining Set featuring 6 Dining Chairs, Dining Table and Sideboard cabinet. This 6-7 Strand Rattan collection is an original Hawaii “Kamaaina Family” custom-commissioned collection, produced in Hawaii, in the 1940s. The second owner, a professional Interior Designer, has owned and preserved the entire Living and Dining Collection, since the early 70’s.
The dining chair set comes with 2 armchairs and 4 side chairs each with custom silk plaid seat cushions, with bent rattan arches and a stack Rattan backboard.
The large rattan dining table comes with stacked rattan bases and a solid Mahogany table complete with 2 leaves for extending the table for large get-togethers. The table features a mahogany apron.
Finally the low standing Mahogany Sideboard comes with a unique woven Rattan face and Rattan border at top and bottom. Inside features two mahogany silver drawers, and solid Mahogany shelves behind three doors.
